September 19 ~ Deana David ~ The Wooley Rose
Deana David gave an amazing presentation of a new publication, called the The Rose’s Tale:Rug Hooking Modern Blooms from Old Roots. Dozens of hookers participated in the hooking the patterns featured in this book. Deana highlighted the various techniques and special touches that were used in this rug collection.
She brought several of these rugs to see, along with a few rugs for the future upcoming Autumn release of October Road: A Collection of Halloween and Seasonal Patterns for the Autumn Heart.
She shared her upcoming Halloween Hook-in, in Stockbridge, Ma in October and shared more information about the TIGHR convention in 2027. There are links for both in the events page if you are interested.
